About
Waldo Burke-Kennedy is a Nottingham-based photographer whose work spans street, portrait, headshot, behind-the-scenes (BTS)/unit, and music photography. With a sharp eye for human emotion and storytelling, Waldo captures the subtle power of expression — the kind that reveals a person’s journey through the look on their face or the weight in their posture.
Coming from a lineage of successful creatives, Waldo brings a deeply personal and intuitive approach to his craft. His work is driven by a genuine fascination with people — their stories, their struggles, and the honesty they wear in everyday moments.
Waldo has been shortlisted for Best Street Photographer at the National Photography Awards, judged and sponsored by Leica. His photographs have been exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, and he is currently set to join ITV’s acclaimed drama Unforgotten (Season 7) as a BTS/Unit Photographer.
With every frame, Waldo aims to build a quiet narrative — one that invites viewers to pause, connect, and feel something real.
